Not only that, managers need to be authentic; just copy/pasting what you’ve seen someone else do or what the most recent management book recommends may not be congruent for you and your direct reports will know that. My Line Management coaching package starts with an initial agreement for 6 coaching sessions, each lasting 2 hours. Depending on the need I flex my style between pure coaching or coaching and mentoring based on my industry experience and useful models and tools.
